Better than sleeping in my car

The room hadn't been used for months, and there was black mold in the toilet. In general, the room didn't seem to be fresh and clean, and the pillow was not clean at all. Cleanliness and comfort were major problems

It was very close to town and to the event that brought me to town - within about a 5 minute drive. I also liked that the rooms had a fridge and microwave because I had to be out the door before they served their free continental breakfast. It was nice to have a king sized bed as well.

-pool was not filled, even though temps were high 80's -killed three large bugs in my room and think it was because the door did not have seals around bottom (I could see a lot of 'daylight' under the door' -couldn't get free wireless to work; had to stand outside to get hospital's free wifi from across road -stayed at ABVI in Wichita that was less money but exceptional room so the bar was set high for what you should get from ABVI for the money you spend on a room

The manager helped with closing the window right away. He was very nice.

The carpet cleaning smell or air freshener smell in the room was too perfumey. Most hotels seem that way too me. At least this one had a window that could be opened...
